MAKE A DIFFERENCE – VOLUNTEER!
Gads Hill Center relies on volunteers to supplement the services provided by our staff and funders. Volunteering at Gads Hill Center is an opportunity for service, learning and connection with a vibrant Chicago community. We welcome individuals and groups, including those from companies and schools. Volunteer opportunities are described in more detail below.

Create Your Own Enrichment Series Module!
Volunteer with our after school programs! Lead a month-long module about your area of interest with our teens in Building Leaders or our school-age children in Junior Building Leaders. The 4-week modules take place one night a week for four weeks. From painting to finances to sports, contact us about your favorite skill. We will partner with you for a rewarding experience teaching the students at Gads Hill Center.
In partnership with the Chicago Department of Public Health and United Way of Metropolitan Chicago, Gads Hill Center implements 75 PlayStreet events throughout the summer transforming neighborhood streets into safe places for children and their parents to engage in fun, active play. Volunteers are needed to help set-up, clean-up and lead activities.
Throughout the city of Chicago, primarily in Albany Park, Austin, Avondale, Belmot-Cragin, Hermosa, Humboldt Park, East and West Garfield Park, North and South Lawndale, Montlare, Rogers Park, Lower West Side and Uptown neighborhoods.
