Myrna Torres Gads Hill Center's Chief Program Officer Myrna Torres was recently interviewed by the National Council of La Raza (NCLR), the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States. Based on that interview, NCLR asked Myrna to join the National Latino Advisory Committee for Child Care, which convened for two days this fall in Washington D.C. During a day of identifying issues and brainstorming recommendations and a second day of reporting findings, Myrna added her expertise based on 25 years in the field. Myrna oversees all Gads Hill programming, including those at our Child Development Center, the Teen Connection college preparatory program, and our Club Learn out-of-school programs, which operate at three sites.
